Saturday , 6th July’24 was a day well spent at Ankur Vidyamandir, Fergusson College, Pune with the teachers and parents of special children.
Occasion was to conduct a work shop on Importance of Early Intervention, Structure planning , and Communication Book in a special child’s life.
Session began with an exercise to know how parent’s visualise their children as an adult. All of them had the same desire to see their ward living life independently.
They also learnt about causes of behavioural issues in special children and ways of overcoming them . I feel privileged to be able to guide them to navigate their journey through my experiences as a Special Educator and as a parent of Rituraj.
